5 X 30 Minutes

This collection of short stories, beautifully written by W Somerset Maugham, concern writer turned spy Ashenden. In the first four stories, which have a running theme, Ashenden is based in a Swiss hotel from which he carries out his activities. The fifth story however features more about Ashenden's private life and features a slightly poignant ending.
